Last summer in Nottingham, before moving to Sweden, I felt like I was entering a new phase in my life.
I saw an image in a science magazine, a cell dividing, creating new life. One cell becoming two and it made me think of my own big change, a change that I wanted to capture and visualise...
Acrylic on canvas, full of colors and movement, just like this new chapter in my life!

While living in Nottingham, alongside my teaching work, I started offering my first individual art therapy sessions at a counselling center in Beeston, at the New Dawn Counselling Centre.
It was a valuable experience that confirmed this was the path I truly wanted to follow, even though teaching was important in its own way.
Recently, I came across my very first poster promoting these sessions, a small piece of my journey, reminding me where it all began.

A special thank you to Aspley Wood School
These wall artworks were made together with my class at Aspley Wood School in Nottingham (now Oak field School). I feel so lucky that I had the chance to be creative with my students and to discover, once again, the power of art!
Working in special needs schools in the UK was an important part of my journey. It gave me experience, confidence, and a deep understanding of how creativity and play can support children who face educational, emotional, or medical challenges.
I want to say a big thank you to Barbara, who gave me the opportunity to work as a teacher in such a wonderful school. Aspley Wood had one of the most amazing school teams I’ve ever met, from the kind and welcoming secretaries to the incredible teaching assistants.
To my dear students: I miss you. I truly had a great time with you. Thank you for everything! 🫶
