My article on gifted children in 1999

During my university studies at the Department of Educational and Social Policy we touched on various learning and educational challenges in children. Giftedness was mentioned, but it remained a little-known and underexplored topic.

I still remember how our professor in dyslexia, Pr. George Pavlidis, often highlighted that many dyslexic children were also gifted. His remarks sparked my curiosity and a strong desire to learn more!

At 20 years old, eager to understand a field so little researched, I dove into every resource I could find. This passion led me to write another article for the local newspaper in my hometown, hoping to share my discoveries and raise awareness about these exceptional children 🧡😉🤔
